Milngavie & Bearsden Swimming Club Masters Squad....
...is a welcoming, inclusive and fun place for adults who wish to swim regularly in a coached swim club environment. This could be on a competitive basis and/or for the fitness and social side. Competitive and fitness swimmers train together at a variety of different levels. Through a session swimmers will be expected to swim Freestyle, Backstroke and Breaststroke and should be willing to try Butterfly. As a guide, swimmers should be able to swim sets for an hour to an hour and a half and be able to swim 100m Freestyle in around 1.30 / 1.40 for a number of reps. In addition to pool training, we offer occasions to meet up socially, whether this be informal arrangements such as pub/meals out or at the annual club ceilidh. We also have an active members’ Facebook group.
The club offers coached sessions 3 times a week with fee options available to suit varying circumstances.
